Sonder pendant

Created around a forest green tourmaline, this pendant was made to show off gemstones in a glassic and minimal way. It’s made from 100% recycled 9k yellow gold.

The gallery underneath the stone serves two purposes, its to allow light behind the gemstone to enhance its colour, but also reminds me of the word ‘sonder’. 

Sonder is the realisation that everyone is living their a life as vivid and complex as your own, and I get this feeling every time I walk home at night and the lights are on in small buildings. The little gallery squares behind this pendant remind me of those windows, where you wonder what life that person lives. 

This pendant comes with an 18inch solid 9k gold chain.

You can request different sizes, metals and gemstones or even fully bespoke designs using the contact section of my website. If you do decide to change anything, the timeframe for the piece would now count as bespoke, and therefore take 8-10 weeks to make.Your piece may arrive much sooner than this, but I always allow a longer timeframe to prepare for any delays in the production process.  Due to the handmade nature of some pieces, they can vary slightly, but this is the nature of handmade work.
