Sapphire halo

Creating this platinum and diamond halo for such a vivid sapphire was a dream. It was easy to see what style of ring the gemstone needed to really shine; the diamonds are in a thread and grain style setting: where the grains formed from cutting up the blank metal hold the diamonds in situ.
